Digital sketch practice
Exploring Adobe Fresco, using different brushes, sketching from perspective (first image), sketching over a photo (second image).. noting difference in tone... So fun. View from my beloved Spruce Confections on Pearl Street.

Draft curriculum...
I'm taking a class for my masters program called Advanced Visualization. I am so excited to be able to customize and design a curriculum that fits my goals and interests. I hope the end product meets my (very high:)) expectations.

Eagle illustration...
Quick illustration for MILPA Collective. I lost the original bird image I created, and had to create a new one for their use. Created originally in Illustrator using their text-to-image AI feature, and moved to Photoshop for finishing.

Happy Valentines Day...
My kiddo and I collaborated on Valentine cards for his 2nd grade class. So sweet, and so much fun. I love having reasons like that to create by-hand. My favorite detail is the notched sides, which the red/white string nestles into.

Poster for El Centro AMISTAD...
Draft poster... I had so much fun making this blanket background. General consensus is that it is too bright, but otherwise the style is working.

Attending...
It will be the first in a series of workshops put on by the Center for Teaching and Learning at University of Colorado - Boulder. Working towards a micro-credential in Principles of College Teaching.

We do so many presentations in the Environmental Design program. I'm really excited to learn these best practices and share them with my students!

Reading...
Learning about Caro's experience interviewing Robert Moses and the people he impacted. Fascinating and quite moving..

Using Adobe Portfolio...
Do not use this platform.... It's clunky, not intuitive, not flexible...
I primarily customize everything in Illustrator and/or Photoshop and pull the images into the portfolio site. Ugh.. I feel too entrenched to leave, but it's the worst.

PS. I secretly loved when teachers would pull up their browsers in class, because I found it fascinating to see what they had bookmarked:)

AI Painting
A gift for my boyfriend... I used Photoshop's AI to place all the images... lots of fun to play with, and interesting to see how it fell short. Did some light editing. It's supposed to be ridiculous:)
